Anyone who’s ever conducted business with another business (B2B), knows that one of the biggest problems is getting paid on time. All businesses operate on a credit cycle, and while that works well for businesses, it is problematic for independent creators and creative agencies who don’t have much of a safety net. Not getting paid on time for these folks has major repercussions.
Back when we were selling our event tech product, we faced similar payment collection issues as highlighted in the story linked above, and we came to the conclusion that solving this problem for a niche segment could potentially be a huge thing in itself. Hence, we believe that we have set out to build a true painkiller class of products for the design freelancer market.
Another big problem is that going back forth with a client to coordinate files and reviews across multiple tools is a huge time sink. For all creative professionals, time is a bottleneck, not ideas or projects. Anything that we can do to save them time can bring enormous returns to our target audience.
What is Turtlewig then? Simply put, it is a reviews, handoff and payment tool for design freelancers and teams.

Also, we do not charge a bomb that the likes of Paypal do.
